NYLATON® NSM - CAST NYLON 6 + solid lubricant

 

NYLATRON® is a brand name that dates back to Polypenco, when DSM acquired Polypenco and Erta the brand names were reviewed and consolidated. The majority of Nylon products were branded ERTALON® but the most established Polypenco brands such as NYLATRON® were kept.

NYLATRON® NSM - Colour Light grey

NYLATRON® NSM is a proprietary cast Nylon 6 formulation containing solid lubricant additives which grant this material self-lubricity, excellent frictional behaviour, superior wear resistance and outstanding pressure-velocity capabilities (up to 5 times higher than conventional cast nylons). Being particularly suited to higher velocity, unlubricated  moving parts applications, it is the perfect complement to the oil filled ERTALON® LFX

In generally for bearings / bearing surfaces ERTALON® LFX is more suited to high load / low speed applications, NYLATRON® GSM (cast Nylon 6 + MOS2) is a good "all rounder", while NYLATRON® NSM is suitable for applications requiring higher speed but lower loads.

  • Rod Ř 60mm (only all other sizes are made to minimum orders)

  • Tube 50mm O/D x 20mm I/D to 600mm O/D x 570mm I/D all made to order

  • Plate 10mm to 80mm
