FOAMALUX® &
FOAMALUX®
ULTRA |
FOAMALUX® rigid foam PVC sheet has limitless
applications in the screen, sign, display, exhibition,
fabrication and building industries. The consistently
smooth surface finish is ideal for the application of
ink or vinyl, giving superb results every time. |
STRONG BUT LIGHT |
A uniform expanded close cell
structure gives FOAMALUX® foam PVC sheet strength, durability and rigidity
yet it is only half the weight of solid PVC sheet. It is
however, durable enough for use in most signage and
display applications. The material's light weight makes
it cost effective to process and install. |
A PROFESSIONAL CHOICE |
A smooth surface finish provides
superb adhesion for ink and vinyl, giving superb results
every time. Consistency of surface finish and colour are
assured with this premium quality foam PVC sheet,
ensuring that you achieve a perfect result on every job. |
THE FABRICATORS
CHOICE |
Working with
FOAMALUX® foam PVC is straightforward and
requires only standard tools for cutting, drilling and
bending. It can be thermoformed and gluing, bonding and
mounting are easily achieved when using recommended
methods.

Recommended Use |
White FOAMALUX®
is ideal for exterior application as its closed
cell structure limits water absorption. Brett Martin,
however, does not recommend the use of coloured
FOAMALUX® in
exterior applications where high levels of colour
retention are required. |
QUALITY |
FOAMALUX®
is manufactured in the UK by Brett Martin. The company
is a BSI registered firm and its quality management
systems conform to international standard ISO 9002. |

FOAMALUX®
ULTRA |
Gloss Foam
PVC Sheet |
Utilising technology
perfected in the production of other high
performance sheets, Brett Martin has developed
FOAMALUX®
Ultra for the display and fabrication
industries. It is a rigid foam PVC sheet with a
high gloss finish which is a structural part of
the sheet so it not deteriorate when fabricated.
Strong, durable and suitable for exterior use,
FOAMALUX®
Ultra affords design professionals a
quality, fire retardant, gloss finish
cost-effectively. FOAMALUX®
Ultra is produced in white and 6 popular
sign colours (grey, black, red ,yellow ,blue
,green). The standard range is 3mm and 5mm thick
in a 1220mm x 2440mm sheet. (Other options are
available) |
Fabrication
The superb results that
can be achieved by fabricating
FOAMALUX®
Ultra provide exciting new options to the sign
and display industries. The structural gloss
finish, combined with the workability of a foam
PVC sheet facilitates fabrication in a wide
variety of ways. FOAMALUX®
Ultra can be thermoformed to considerable
depths and into complex shapes without any
deterioration of its aesthetic or physical
properties. Excellent results are achieved when
the material is bent, cut, welded, glued or
drilled. |
DURABILITY |
The gloss finish on
FOAMALUX®
Ultra is provided by outdoor grade PVC,
improving upon the weatherability of standard
foamed PVC sheet. It is a lightweight sheet
ideal for use where weight must be minimised.
The hard gloss finish ensures good resistance to
knocks and scratches. A uniform expanded closed
cell structure gives
FOAMALUX® Ultra an ideal
combination of strength and durability |
UV STABILITY |
FOAMALUX® Ultra has UV
protection on the gloss surface giving good UV
stability even in exterior applications. |
FIRE RATING |
FOAMALUX® Ultra has a Class 1
surface spread of flame fire rating when tested
to BS476 Part 7. |
